We are seeking an experienced practice nurse / registered nurse who has a passion for primary healthcare to join our small and valued team. This is a job share position working alongside an experienced Practice Nurse.
Devonport Family Medicine is a busy, growing, family-focused practice of one full-time and one part-time GP.
This is a part-time permanent position of 3-4 days. This role covers all aspects of general practice including wound management, triaging, diabetes care, immunisations, assisting with minor surgery and health promotion.
You will:
- Have a minimum of 1 year primary care experience
- Have a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Have a current immunisation and/or smear takers certificate (not essential, but preferred)
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and caring attitude towards patients and colleagues
- Be able to work independently and as part of a close team, self-motivated, able to prioritise and multitask
- Have a current CPR certificate
- Be able to cover extra days as required to cover annual or sick leave
- Be legally able to work in New Zealand
